Tips For Buyers
Trying To Attain
The Best Possible Credit Score:
1.) Don't order any
furniture, appliances, etc. for a new home, even if no payment is immediately due.
2.) Don't let stores you shop with run a credit check when looking for items for your new
home.
3.) Don't apply for any new credit cards!
4.) Pay all credit card bills on time, even if it means paying utility bills late.
4.) Refuse increases to your credit limit on all cards.
5.) Pay off and close all existing accounts with finance companies, as these are viewed
negatively on a credit rating.
6.) Close all unused credit card accounts.
7.) Maintain at least one of your oldest credit cards to show a lengthy credit history.
